Carolyn Dawn Johnson Performed For Tin Pan South 2006
NASHVILLE, TN -- “VARIETY” was the keyword for the 14th
Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. The 2006 TPS
Festival will showcase the plethora of musical genres
that ring through the streets and back alleys of Music
City. From Top 40 Pop Artists and Grammy-Nominated Rock
Artists to Critically-Acclaimed Singer-Songwriters &
Folk Troubadours and Chart-Topping Country Tunesmiths,
the 2006 Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival had a little
something for every music fan. Carolyn performed live March 31st at 12th and Porter.

Festival
Carolyn will be participating in the SOCAN International
Songwriter's Festival as part of Canadian Music Week.
The March 4th show will also include writers Gary Burr,

She performed on acoustic piano a song inspired by
Terry, and co written with Amy Foster Gillies.

While CDJ
was in Canada for the CCMA
weekend, there were some events the fans should know
about!
Saturday Night the 10th- CDJ played at the Calgary Zoo
with Aaron Lines, show 7pm, Calgary, AB
Sunday afternoon the 11th-CDJ hosted and performed at the
Gospel Show held at “Grace Baptist Church” 2670 Radcliffe Drive SE, in Calgary, AB,
Monday Night the 12th-Carolyn opened the CCMA’s with
Simple Life, so make sure you tune in EARLY for she will
be on the top of the show!

CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC
ASSOCIATION AWARDS SET FOR SEPTEMBER 12, 2005
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 22, 2005) - The Canadian
Country Music Association released today an initial list
of performers including Carolyn Dawn Johnson, for the
CCMA Awards to be held September 12, 2005 in Calgary at
Pengrowth Saddledome. The show will be broadcast on CBC
with encore airings on CMT. The Canadian Country Music
Association Awards also continue to be the only Canadian
awards show to air live in the U.S., this year on Great
American Country (GAC). For the first time the show will
also air in Australia on Country Music Channel (CMC).

CCMA'S!
Singer-songwriter Caroyln Dawn Johnson of Westlock,
Alta., was nominated in four categories in the 2005
Canadian Country Music Association awards, to be handed
out Sept. 12 in Calgary. Carolyn was nominated for
Single, Song, and Female artist of the year, as
well as the fan voted "Fan's Choice Award"!

Carolyn To Help Benefit
CMHOFM
Carolyn will
take part
in a new artist-based fundraising campaign for the
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum designed by Vince
Gill. During a Tuesday (July 12) morning ceremony
attended by Hall of Fame members, board members,
artists, record label heads and industry
representatives, Gill said the All for the Hall campaign
idea came to him during an artists' dinner he and his
wife, singer Amy Grant, hosted at their home.

Trucking Show
Carolyn will be signing
autographs at the Midnight Trucking Radio Network booth
on August 26th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm during the Great
American Trucking Show in Dallas, TX. Pictures, CD's and

Carolyn Was Part Of CMA's
Strongest Daytime Lineup in CMA Music Festival History
The 2005 CMA Music Festival was the best yet! Rain or
shine CDJ fans were not going to miss their favorite
star perform, and Carolyn did not disappoint! Despite
the rain, Carolyn got the crowd up and on their feet and
having a great time.
The full
lineup for the Daily Concerts showcased the diversity of
Country Music from traditional to alt.country; from the
legends to today's radio favorites. The non-stop
performances took place on side-by-side stages with
state-of-the-art production including video screens.

Carolyn Helps YWCA Raise
$115,000.00 For
Celebrity Auction
Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jo
Dee Messina, Naomi Judd and many other country stars
helped the Nashville YWCA raise $115,000 at a celebrity
auction in Nashville on Sunday (June 12), the final day
of the CMA Music Festival. Though she founded the
auction, Martina McBride did not attend this year due to
her pregnancy. Wynonna's personalized black Copley
guitar earned the highest bid, bringing in $3,300.

Ataxia, a disease that affects the nervous systems and
