Carolyn Dawn Johnson Announced As Finalist For The CCMA Fan Choice Award

CALGARY, Alberta, Canada--The Canadian Country Music Association has announced the Year 2004 Nominees for the Kraft Cheese Whiz Fans' Choice Award. The final five nominees are: Terri Clark, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jason McCoy, Shania Twain and the Manitoba band, Doc Walker.

The Canadian Country Music Awards Fans' Choice category is the only fan-voted CCMA award. Beginning mid summer, country music fans from coast to coast cast their vote of choice for this award by going online at http://www.cmtcanada.com. Terri Clark and Shania Twain are past recipients of this award; both with multiple wins. This is the inaugural Fans' Choice Award nomination for the Doc Walker band.

The Canadian Country Music Awards Show is scheduled to be held September 13 in Edmonton, Alberta at Rexall Place. Tickets to the Canadian Country Music Awards Show will be available in mid-June through http://www.ticketmaster.ca. The show will air live on September 13, 2004 at 8:00 PM on CBC Television with additional broadcasts on CMT. (Please check local listings.)
