The 12th annual Vince Gill Celebrity Basketball Game and
Concert took place on Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Curb
Event Center. The event is an annual scholarship fundraiser
sponsored by the Belmont University Athletics department and
College of Music Business. The game started with a friendly basketball competition between a variety of Nashville music stars including Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Trick Pony, Cledus T. Judd, Jimmy Wayne, Pinmonkey, Ray Benson from Asleep at the Wheel and Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown. After the games, Vince and his musical friends performed an acoustic concert. |
