This title had been sitting in my book for a while and I barely had a bluesy melody underneath it. I brought the idea to Kim and Al one day because I knew in my heart they would help make it what it needed to be. I don't play the guitar that groovy, but Al does and he would add that flare. And Kim being a legendary cool rocker and songwriter, I knew she'd add her touch. All in all, it's just kind of my philosophy of life song. I was going to call the album "Little Bit of This, Little Bit of That" because I thought it was a cool title and an overview of what to expect of the music, but near the end of the project I was moved to call it "Room With A View" instead - which is a lot deeper so it ended up winning. This song always makes me move when I listen to it, and I love singing it! In fact it makes me want to sing.
