My uncle was my mother's youngest sibling and they grew up in a very small town - many small towns actually, because my grandpa was a minister. Uncle Tim had dyslexia. Today this is very common, but back then he got brushed through school and was looked upon as not very smart. This would make any person feel insecure, but he was very handsome and kind, and very strong. I always have a great memory of him doing pushups with us kids on his back. He stayed with relatives after he got out of school and worked on farms and did other manual labor. He also went to Bible school for years. He never could find that special someone. He moved back to where Grandma and Grandpa were after a few hard years on his own and went to church with them. He had been praying to find someone. Nellie, one of two single girls in the entire church (remember it's a small town) had been praying too.
